This group is being formed for the discussion of bloodlines of horses that are within the stock horse breed category that could be positive for Polysaccharide Storage Myopathy (PSSM). PSSM is known for causing tying up issues in horses and is found in many breeds of horses including draft horses. It is a dominant gene and can be inherited from one positive parent 50% of the time and the resulting positive foal can be symptomatic for PSSM.
