The Focus of Silver Quarters is to provide a safe, relaxed environment in which to care for and enjoy your horse. We strive on preparing horses and riders to enjoy competition in the show ring, whether it's at the local or breed show level. We offer shows, boarding, and a friendly atmosphere, while teaching safe and effective horse handling, proper care, and general knowledge.

Bay Ridge Performance Horses offers lessons, training and clinics which teaches proper aids and cues to build champion teams. We start young horses and make every effort towards respect and ground manners. Beginners start with fundamental training which gets you on your horse and learning how each movement and reaction affects one another. Intermediate riders learn the basics in riding Western and English and veteran riders learn showing essentials in all classes such as Showmanship, Trail, Equitation and Pleasure in which the rider can move on to possibilities thought one day to be far beyond their expectations. We actively show throughout Zone 1 on the APHA circuit and are recognized within the local community and in 4-H.

Our trainer Tabitha Whitford who was born into the horse industry is a proven winner on the APHA and Open Circuits. She has started and trained many horses and offers training on a monthly rate with boarding at the facility. Horsefeathers 4-H club is currently based out of the facility and continuously builds winners on the local and state level and is often accepting new members.
Silver Quarters is centrally located in Skagit County, WA, approximately 15 minutes from Mt Vernon, Burlington and Anacortes.
