Enriching the lives of youth and families through the use of horses, community, and nature while teaching confidence, responsibility, and respect.Our use of a comprehensive curriculum is designed to increase horsemanship knowledge and riding skills in an orderly manner. Participants are encouraged to challenge themselves, expand their horizons, and try new activities. Education and/or Accreditation

Our instructor, Elissa Wellhausen, graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor degree in Animal Science in 1999. Elissa then started a family, became a 4-H leader of the Singing Spurs, and the Horse Department Supervisor of the Valley Fair. She has been teaching about horses for the last 15 years, and became a registered Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATHI ) instructor in 2011.
Catherine Lochner OTR/L of Over the Rainbow Therapy Services LLC provides Hippotherapy.
