Horse Lover's Math

Date:January 6, 2016 4:21 pm

Let your child's passion for horses motivate their academic learning. Horse Lover's Math (HLM) is a website for kids ages 8 and up devoted to horses and math. HLM follows the math curriculum guidelines for grades 4 to 6, and creates math questions, drawn from the real-world of horses to meet as many of the curriculum goals as possible.

Horse Lover’s Math aims to demystify math and make it more accessible. By showing math’s relationship to science and equine career and course opportunities in colleges and universities, Horse Lover’s Math hopes to motivate and inspire children to be all that they can be.

Start with the Level 1 Workbook available with math at grades 4/5 level and horse content for any age. Video of workbook shown below!

Check out the newly released Level 2 Workbook with 180 pages of fun at grades 5/6!

For horse crazy kids, the motivation to learn is built in!

“Horse Lover’s Math has helped me recognize how important math is and also has made math much more fun!".                      Jodi - HLM club member

For those of you who use Rainbow Resource for home schooling resources HLM workbooks are available on their website.
