Thirty five years ago, I bought some land and got some horses. That is when I felt the need to learn to take care of their feet, I mean ‘how hard could it be?’. Harder that I thought, but I enjoyed it and stuck with it. An interest turned into an avocation, then became a vocation. Considerable continuing education along the way.
I still have horses of my own, I still ride and train. The idea that I am trying to convey I understand how important your horses probably are to you. The investment of good intention, time, emotion and money.
I think it is important to look at and evaluate the whole horse and watch them move. I prefer to shoe hot. If a horse can comfortably do their work barefoot, I prefer to leave them barefoot. Twenty five years experience in equine and human massage.
My home base is Vashon Is. I travel to the greater Tacoma, Gig Harbor, Puyallup areas.
